About these guides
Cybersecurity Geniuses explains how attacks really work and what ordinary people and small teams can do about them. Every guide is written in plain English, checked against public guidance from organizations such as CISA, NIST, the UK National Cyber Security Centre and the FTC, and updated as advice changes.
What we do not do
- We never publish step-by-step attack instructions. Guides explain how threats work so you can recognize and stop them.
- We do not take sides in politics. Incidents are described by what happened technically and what defenders learned.
- We do not sell security software. Tools we mention are free or widely trusted, and we say why.
